The Carnival Cruise Line VIFP Club is an individual loyalty program limited to one membership per person. Corporate or group memberships are not permitted. Guests enroll online to create an account and become Members. The program is sponsored and administered by Carnival Cruise Line (CCL) and is governed by the VIFP Club Terms and Conditions.
CCL may modify, suspend, or terminate the VIFP Club at any time without notice, including changes to program rules, membership levels, point requirements, earning methods, or benefits. Members are responsible for reviewing updated terms. CCL may audit accounts and may terminate membership for suspected violations, fraud, improper conduct, behavior detrimental to CCL, ejection from a cruise, or breach of the Ticket Contract. Termination results in forfeiture of all accumulated VIFP Points, and CCL decisions are final.
Members in good standing earn one VIFP Point for each day sailed on eligible Carnival cruises based on published sailing length. Points are not awarded for future reserved days, and certain charters or non-revenue fares may be excluded. Points are typically credited within 14 days after sailing, and CCL may offer bonus point promotions at its discretion.
Membership Levels:
- Blue: First Cruise
- Red: Second Cruise to 24 VIFP Points
- Gold: 25 to 74 VIFP Points
- Platinum: 75 to 199 VIFP Points
- Diamond: 200 or more VIFP Points
If a Member reaches a new level during a sailing, Carnival may allow that Member to receive higher-level benefits during the same sailing at its discretion. Benefits are non-transferable, have no cash value, and may not be sold. The VIFP Club is offered as-is and governed by Florida law, with disputes handled in Miami, Florida courts.
VIFP Club Benefits by Level (summary):
- Blue: Blue Sail & Sign card, members-only offers, member e-newsletter.
- Red: Red Sail & Sign card, members-only offers, member e-newsletter, complimentary 1.5-liter bottle of water on embarkation day.
- Gold: Gold Sail & Sign card, members-only offers, member e-newsletter, complimentary water on embarkation day, one complimentary appreciation beverage on 5+ day cruises (value up to $16 plus gratuity), and one Gold VIFP pin per sailing.
- Platinum: All Gold benefits plus priority check-in and boarding, invitation to the VIFP Party on 5+ day cruises, welcome treat upon request, collectible pin each sailing, priority spa reservations, priority water shuttle boarding, arcade credit for guests under 18 (limits apply), VIFP logo gift, priority guest services access, priority debarkation, priority dining and specialty restaurant reservations (subject to availability), and complimentary wash-and-fold laundry service with bag limits.
- Diamond: All Platinum benefits plus guaranteed dining preference by request, complimentary unlimited wash-and-fold laundry for the Diamond Member and guests sailing with them, a Captain’s invitation subject to availability, a one-time Diamond choice benefit (category-type upgrade or free passage for Guests 3–5 on one cruise, fare only), a one-time complimentary specialty restaurant dinner for two (subject to participation limits), a VIFP luggage tag set presented once, and a dedicated toll-free shoreside assistance number.
